For orderly academic administration at Andalas University, guided by the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards, it is necessary to issue an Academic Calendar. Based on these considerations, the Chancellor established the Andalas University Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 Academic Year which applies to academic implementation of all educational programs at Andalas University.

The Agribusiness Study Program curriculum presents the distribution of courses (MK) for each semester. These courses have a certain weight of credits, ranging from 2 credits to 4 credits. To complete this study program, students must complete a minimum of 144 credits and a maximum of 160 credits. Of the total number of credits, 121 credits must come from 45 mandatory courses while the remainder (23 credits to 39 credits) are taken from 29 elective courses (73 credits in total). Elective courses are provided for students to choose according to their individual interests starting from Semester III to Semester VI.

Accreditation is an assessment of higher education quality conducted by Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT). BAN-PT itself is the only body that has the authority from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia to conduct higher education quality assessments. BAN-PT has the duty to assist the Minister of National Education in carrying out one of its obligations, namely to evaluate the quality of tertiary institutions, which includes State, Service, Religious and Private Universities.

In 2022 the Agribusiness Study Program succeeded in obtaining an Accreditation rating of A with a value of 371, which is valid for 5 years from 2 August 2022 to 2 August 2027.
