197 New Students Batch 2022 Agribusiness Study Program Participate in the BAKTI Procession of the Department of Social Economy

Padang - The Head of the Department of Social Economy (SEP), Hasnah, S.P, DipAgEc, M,Ec, Ph.D, opened the Student Activity Guidance in Scientific Tradition (BAKTI) for Class of 2022, in the Lecturer Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture building, 3rd floor. A total of 197 students from the Agribusiness Study Program and 54 students from the Agricultural Extension Study Program enthusiastically participated in this event. The event was opened with an introduction to the Department of Agricultural Socioeconomics, then continued with an introduction to the Agribusiness Study Program and Agricultural Extension Study Program, Introduction to Lecturers and discussions.

 

On this occasion the Head of the Social Economic Department also provided motivation and guidance for new students to undergo lectures for the 2022/2023 Odd Semester, which will begin on Monday, August 22, 2022. It was also explained about the opportunities for domestic and foreign student exchanges, the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, and the process of continuing Masters studies with the Fast Track program to the Masters Program in Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture in semester 6.

Head of Agribusiness Study Program, Dr. Zednita Azriani, SP, MSi, gave an introduction to Academic Rules and Norms, Achievement of Students and Alumni, Accreditation of Agribusiness Study Programs, and provided learning motivation for new students. On this occasion also explained the English class (KBI) which can be followed by students in Semester 3.

  

 

A number of Agribusiness Study Program lecturers participated in this BAKTI 2022 activity and conveyed words of motivation to new students to start campus life, so that all academic matters such as study plans communicate with Academic Advisors, academic and non-academic activities can be carried out and carried out properly without experiencing obstacle.

It is hoped that with the implementation of the BAKTI Department of Social Economy, new students can more quickly adapt to the campus environment and the education system.
