PADANG - Three students of the Agribusiness Study Program Andalas University English Language Class (KBI) class year of 2020, namely Elisa Aldini, Tavania Andrea and Vanessa Octarina took part in the Sakura Science Invitation Program in November 2022. This program is a field study and cultural exploration activity organized by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and Kanazawa University in collaboration with Andalas University. The scope of this activity focuses on the field of ecological science in rural areas that have a friendly agricultural technology for wildlife.

PADANG - Another extraordinary achievement was achieved by students of the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economy which was announced at the HIPMI AWARD Wednesday, October 5 2022. Through the Creative Ads video competition held by UKM HIPMI (Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association) UNAND Higher Education, the "Integrated Three" team consisting of Hamdan Oktoriq, Fariz Al Zacky, and Ade Yulianti Siregar won the Best Winner for the Creative Ads competition category.

PADANG - Andalas University in 2022 hold a Credit Earning or Foreign Student Exchange program in the form of credit transfers to Putra Malaysia University (UPM) for 1 semester. To take part in this program, the Agribusiness Study Program of the Department of Social Economy, Faculty of Agriculture sent Hafizul Ihsan and Nihlatul Maula who are English Language Class Students (KBI) of Agribusiness Study Program class year of 2020.

1. Producing agribusiness graduates who have entrepreneurial spirit, master science and technology and have a commitment to building populist agribusiness
2. Produce a science and technology base that is commensurate for the development of community agribusiness
3. Producing an Agribusiness Information System, empowering agribusiness actors and managing natural resources to build and strengthen community agribusiness
